Twilight Tour
Welcome to Tirimbina, a privately-owned National Wildlife Refuge with 345 hectares of tropical rainforest. Our Twilight Tour is a unique experience that offers a perspective of the rainforest's transition from day to night. During this 2-hour tour, you will have the opportunity to observe the flora and fauna of the area in a completely new light.
The tour begins at 5:00 pm, just in time to witness the magic of the sunset disappearing into the rainforest. As the sun sets, many animals finish their daily activities, while others
come out to start their night journey. You will be able to experience this transition in the heart of the forest, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the wildlife.
During the tour, you will cross one of the longest-hanging bridges in the country, allowing you to delve deeper into the natural surroundings. The guided walk along the wonderful forest trails of Tirimbina will give you the chance to observe a variety of wildlife such as birds, mammals, amphibians, arachnids, reptiles, and more.
The Twilight Tour is suitable for all ages, and the only requirements are closed shoes, a flashlight, and a rain jacket or umbrella, as rain is common in the rainforest.
