Cancellation Policies:

We need a credit card number in order to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not actually be charged until after your arrival at Hacienda Barú. You may cancel your reservation at no charge if you do so more than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival. If you cancel during the last 14 days you will be charged $50 US. If you cancel in the last 24 hours or do not arrive as scheduled, your lodging will be held for you for the first night only, and your credit card will be charged for one night.

-Check-in: 2:00 PM (14:00 hours).

-Check-out: 11:00 AM (11:00 hours).

TOURS

Night in the Jungle

We need a credit card number in order to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not actually be charged until after your arrival at Hacienda Barú. You may cancel your reservation at no charge if you do so prior to 15:00 hours (3 pm) the day before your tour. If you cancel after that time you will be charged for one person, $149.

Twilight Hike

We need a credit card number in order to guarantee your reservation. Your credit card will not actually be charged until after your arrival at Hacienda Barú. You may cancel your reservation at no charge if you do so prior 14:00 hours (2 pm) the day of your tour. If you cancel after that time you will be charged for one person, $39.

All Other Tours

We don't require a deposit or a credit card guarantee, but it is necessary to reconfirm your reservation the day before your scheduled tour date. You can do this by email or phone. If you fail to reconfirm we will cancel your reservation.
